Designed in 1986, the Circle Chair's design appears to be unconnected with Wegner's other designs. It shows that Wegner was able to maintain his enthusiasm and innovative spirit despite an already long career. The solid wood and plaited flag line are elements which are recurrent in his collection. A special machine was developed to make the chair out of wood, something that even Wegner himself thought
