From France and dating from the first half of the 19th century this unique and beautiful red and white Toile de Jouy quilt. Printed with pastoral scenes and woman in traditional costume including elaborate headdresses. It has all the elements youd want in a toile from this period. The quilt is backed in a beautiful hand loomed white linen and has scalloped edges down two sides and along the pillow sham. Measurements. 192cm wide x 193cm
