Western Red Cedar One Piece Ukulele Sound Board, Dark and Resonant With Rich Overtones and Clear Bass, Tenor Size (LA86) Western Red Cedar 18 x 5 x 35Western Red Cedar is a beautiful wood for luthiers to use in building sound boards for ukuleles. It has a sound that many call dark and resonant. It has long sustained, rich overtones and clear bass. It may not be as loud as Port Orford Cedar, but still has a strong presence. Our Western Red Ceder is recovered from the salvage of old growth trees with growth ring counts from 35 to 50 rings per inch. There is one piece 0. 18 x 9 1 2 x 16". Photos are
