Silk Velvet Anglo-Indian Zardozi Embroidered Bedcover or Hanging, India circa mid C19th Edwardian dress our Stroud based studios haveA midnight blue silk velvet double size bedcover with hand embroidered silver and gold zardi work embroidery interspersed with coloured silk chenille. Made in India for a British officer (M. L. Finlayson) during the days of the Raj. In very good condition and fully lined in a good green silk satin which is contemporary to the piece. Measurements: 160cm (W) x 244cm (L)
