Hand Loomed and Embroidered Traditional Tent Bands: C20th Anatolia wall hanging It is still in goodA double hand loomed tent band from Anatolia, dating from the early 20th century. These panels were woven in naturally dyed, hand spun wools on a narrow loom before being joined together. Here we have a band made with two panels one in a tomato red with another in peat brown. They have subsequently had hand embroidered decoration applied. At 3 meters long theres enough here to edge curtains, make cushions or use for an upholstery project.
