An inert organic binder and a manganese activated zinc silicate as indicator is used. For preparative purposes (PLC) a layer thickness of 1 mm is available on glass plates. We recommend to activate aluminum oxide layers before use by heating 10 minutes at 120 C. Available as glass plates, POLYGRAM polyester sheets and ALUGRAM aluminum sheets.
