表情の良い大きな菩薩像です。時代と共に塗が落ちています。

須恵器 小壺 （古墳時代 3-7世紀）。

小さな底部から、肩に向けてなだらかに膨らみ、大きく開いた口を持っています。

表面は赤褐色を帯び、土の粒子や焼成のむらがそのまま景色となっています。縄文土器のような強い装飾性ではなく、形と土味を中心にした静かな佇まいです。
