Prie dieu Over the last 300 yearsA superb large 18th century George III mahogany dining chair, with what looks like the original leather horse hair filled seat. Made in the Chippendale manner from quality, heavy mahogany, with a pierced vase shaped back splat. Wonderful deep color and patina, well carved detailing to the back splat (no repairs that I can see either), nice channeling to the back too, and legs chamfered on the inside.
