Nativity Scene, Nativity Set, Miniature nativity , Retablos knitted_headwarmer The design of the blanketThese beautiful nativity boxes are known as Retablos which translates as Altarpiece. Each Retablo measures 5 cm wide with doors closed to 10 cm with doors fully open by 8 cm high and 3. 5 cm deep. The figures are beautifully crafted and are made of a mix of plaster, cooked potato and newspaper and then painted in wonderful vivid colours and lacquered to finish. They look great as a table decoration or on the mantelpiece.
