Arctostaphylos glandulosa ssp. zacaensis RSABG 19829, San Marcos Manzanita Size:0.5 qt burnt orange to mellow yellowLow form manzanita with fuzzy blue green foliage and white blooms in early spring. Tolerant of sand and most commonly found on steep slopes, but has been happy planted in the flats of our dry meadow in decently well draining clay soils. Photos of shrub taken late August 2025 in its fifth year in the ground. Mature size: 3 4 ft T x 4 7 ft W Minimum temperature: 10 F Not recommended for hot and humid climates.
