Antique Chintz with Flowers and Exotic Bird: Early 20th Century Europe silk chiffon A 19th century gold giltItem Details. A lovely cotton chintz panel dating from the 1910 20. Designed and printed in France it has a wonderful print with big blousy roses in pinks with foliage in shades of teal which works beautifully against the charcoal coloured ground. There also is a stylised bird which looks like a chicken but with peacock feathers! This textile is suitable for study, archive, inspiration, or could be stretched and mounted and hung on a wall.
