Made entirely at the Young shop circa '48 '50, unlike most "Ace" and "Special" marked rods which were made with outsourced blanks. Rod is darkly flamed, showing a heavy resemblance to the named Parabolic series rods in appearance, a very uncommon feature for a model without hand written script. Features a smooth wells grip with cork reel seat spacer and screw down locking reel seat with "Paul H.
